Entering the Core
Accessing the jungles requires finding Geothermal Vents on the surface of the Devastated Lands. These vertical shafts lead directly into the humid, bioluminescent depths.
Prehistoric Threats: Dinosaurs
The highlight of the Jan 17 update is the introduction of several dinosaur species:
- Cave Rex (Placeholder AI): A massive predator that guards large Adamantite deposits. While its behavior is still being refined, its hit damage is catastrophic.
- Raptor Scouts: Fast, agile hunters that travel in packs. They are highly sensitive to light—keep your torches dimmed if you want to avoid a chase.
Survival Tips
- Humidity Management: The air in the deep jungles is heavy. Use Cooling Potion Presets to prevent your stamina from draining due to heat exhaustion.
